Our Great Room seats up to 216 guests for dinner and holds up to 725 in theater style, with Michigan's largest wooden dance floor in the middle of it, chandelier lighting overhead, and exposed brick around you. The Garden holds up to 150. The Bar Lounge takes 80 or more, the Legacy Room fits up to 56, and the Fireside Room holds up to 24. Ask any venue for capacity by room and by setup, not one headline number. A space that seats 216 for dinner behaves very differently once you add a stage, a DJ, and a dance floor.
Ask what happens when the weather turns
Michigan can hand you three seasons before lunch. Our Garden is built for ceremonies, with walkways, flowers, hardwoods, and sculptures, plus a gazebo and fountain that photographers keep circling back to. Lawn games, a fire pit, and a s'mores table keep the evening going out there. If the sky opens, we bring you inside and hold the ceremony in the Great Room. Our ceremony areas are dog-friendly too, indoors and out. When you tour, ask who makes the rain call and how late it can be made.
Decide whether you want food and bar under one roof
We cook on site. Buffets are built around poultry, beef, pork, seafood, and pasta, and our Czech fried chicken is the dish people still bring up months later. Sides run from Yukon gold mashed potatoes to green beans with almonds, and custom menus cover vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-friendly needs. Dessert can come from an outside vendor or from us. The Legacy Room gives us stainless serving lines and a staging area away from the party, which is the unglamorous reason food reaches your guests hot.
Our bar is licensed, insured, and staffed by our own bartenders, and it lives in the Bar Lounge behind a granite counter. Run it hosted, semi-hosted, or cash, and pick standard, premium, or top-shelf liquor alongside wine, beer, seltzer, specialty cocktails, and non alcoholic options. A few house rules are worth knowing before you plan. No outside alcohol. No shots, doubles, or pitchers. IDs checked for anyone who looks under 40. The bar closes 30 minutes before your DJ finishes.

Tables, chairs, white linens, and placeware come with the room, and our staff handles the setup and teardown of tables and chairs. You get a point person for vendor communication and day-of coordination, plus event staff who pour drinks, run the buffet, light candles, refill desserts, flip rooms, and clean up at the end. Wireless internet runs through all 13,000 square feet, and the building is handicap accessible with baby changing stations. Decor is available to rent, so ask for the inventory before you buy anything twice.
Look for somewhere to get ready, not just somewhere to marry
The Fireside Room is our bridal suite, with makeup mirrors, a fireplace, and a morning service that brings coffee, water, and light snacks. The Z House handles the other half of the party. It has a living room, a full kitchen, a large changing room, a smart TV, and a shuffleboard table, and it sleeps six between a queen bed, a sofa bed, and rollaway beds. Getting ready on the property removes an entire drive from your morning, which you will feel by two in the afternoon.

What is the backup plan if it rains on our garden ceremony?
We move the ceremony indoors to the Great Room. The Garden is set up for outdoor ceremonies and receptions, and the hall is ready to host indoors if the weather turns.
Can we book a Saturday in the summer?
Prime Saturdays from June through October are held for weddings, unless the date falls within three months and is still open. Reach out early if you have a summer or fall Saturday in mind.
Can we bring our own alcohol or hire an outside bartender?
No. We do not allow outside alcohol. Our bar is licensed, insured, and staffed by our own bartenders, and you can set it up as hosted, semi-hosted, or cash. The bar closes 30 minutes before your DJ finishes.
