This building has been part of Owosso since 1916, when it opened as a Czech fraternal hall, and it was fully renovated in 2019. The garden came out of that work. It now sits alongside the Great Room, the Bar Lounge, the Fireside Room, the Legacy Room, and The Z House, all on one property at 1775 Owosso Ave. Your ceremony, photos, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing can happen without anyone getting back in a car. Start with the garden, then check your guest count
The garden is built for gathering. Walkways run between flowers, hardwoods, and sculptures, and there is a gazebo and a fountain that photographers find without any help from us. We can host up to 150 guests out there for a ceremony or a reception, so that number is the first thing to hold up against your list. Tables, chairs, white linens, and placeware are included, and our team handles setup, room flips, and cleanup, so those hours go to your guests instead of logistics. Décor is available to rent if you would rather not haul your own. And if you are eyeing a summer date, prime Saturdays from June through October are held for weddings.
Where everyone gets ready
The Fireside Room is our bridal suite. Makeup mirrors, a fireplace, and a door that closes. The Z House is the groom room, with a full kitchen, a living room, a shuffleboard table, and beds for six. Both spaces get morning service, so coffee, water, and light snacks are waiting when you arrive. You can add more if you want it, a fruit tray, a sandwich bar, a mimosa bar. Starting the day fed and unhurried sets up everything that follows.
Food, the bar, and the parts guests remember
Catering is on site with our own culinary team, buffet style, with menus built around what you want to eat. Czech fried chicken is the signature, which fits a building that started as a Czech fraternal hall, and it shares the menu with roasted pork loin, brisket, seafood, and pasta. Vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-friendly menus are no trouble. For dessert, use us or bring in an outside vendor, whichever suits you.
The bar is fully licensed and staffed by our own bartenders, with hosted, semi-hosted, and cash setups. Standard, premium, and top-shelf liquor, plus wine, beer, seltzer, and non alcoholic options. Outside alcohol is not permitted, and the bar closes thirty minutes before your DJ finishes, which keeps the last stretch of the night on track.
Then there is the garden after dark. The fire pit and the s'mores table pull people back outside once dinner is done. So do the lawn games, cornhole, giant Connect Four, giant chess, which get guests who barely know each other onto the same team.
