Swing dancing with instruction

We are excited to host a swing dance evening during our “A night out with friends” series. Join in the fun as you learn a new skill and interact with the night’s entertainment for an evening of swing dancing on Michigan’s largest dance floor.

Angela Markle will be providing instruction and lining up the music for the evening. If you’ve never tried swing dancing before or have some rusty footwork don’t worry! There will be instructions at the beginning of the evening so even beginners will look like pros. By the end of the night everyone will be swinging to some classic sounds.   Angela is a professionally trained dance instructor, choreographer, and Ballroom Dance competitor.  She is a former adjunct professor of Ballroom Dance at Saginaw Valley State University and Latin Dance at Central Michigan University.

The event is held on Saturday,  February 25th from 6 - 10pm.

6:00pm | Doors open: Get settled as the bar opens and appetizers are available for purchase.

7-8 pm Swing dancing with  instruction and 8-9 pm open ballroom dancing

Fried corn nuggets $6

Mac ‘n Cheese bites: $6

Brat with kettle chips: $8

Fried chicken wings, 6 piece: $10

Tickets are very limited to maximize the experience on the dance floor. Please purchase your event ticket in advance and be sure your friends grab them as well! Appetizers are available for purchase in advance or in person during the event. As always, our full service bar is open with cocktails flowing throughout the night.
