AUTHENTIC EUROPEAN CUISINE

The menu this week has two entree options:

  • European flare: Our famous Czech fried chicken and a grilled bratwurst, Spaetzle (European buttered noodles), German potato salad, and buttered green beans with toasted almonds.
  • Fall harvest  salad: a hearty serving of mixed greens topped with baked chicken breast, roasted butternut squash, fresh apples, pomegranate seeds, feta cheese and walnuts.

Sauerkraut will be available for purchase as a side. All meals will start with our signature sweet roll. We will end with a czech dessert that is a great compliment to our free coffee. All other drinks will be sold separately, though water is provided at the table.

LIVE POLKA BAND

Music is provided by “The Good Times Orchestra”, and trust us, they always provide a good time! Their polka sounds are sure to have you smiling from ear to ear. Many members are inductees of the Michigan Polka Hall of Fame and we are honored to have them back on our stage! For this event there will also be “music only” tickets available for those who want a great night of music, dancing, and libations.

DANCE INSTRUCTION & COMPETITION

Dancing will be a hit throughout the night for guests of all skill levels! There will be pre-event instruction for all beginners that would like to learn the art of Polka. We will also have a dance competition for guests who would like to show off their skills! Please sign up by emailing cmarsh@theZhall.com and  indicate your interest on our ticket form as you purchase your ticket for this event. First place winners will receive a cash prize of $75 and second place receives a cash prize of $50. The competition will be staggered in heats throughout the night, more information will be provided upon contact.

FULL SERVICE BAR

The season’s charm comes to a full crescendo at the bar with great new favorites to try!

  • Apple Strudel: Gin, apple cider, a dash of cinnamon, maple syrup and a bit of lime juice to brighten the flavors. It is like Fall in a cup and is great as a mocktail as well!
  • Apple Cider Rum Punch: Dark rum, Orange juice, apple cider, and splash of soda. We almost named it dreamsicle as the notes of orange are truly a dream.
  • Don’t forget this seasonal staple, Oktoberfest beer
  • Traditional warm spiced wine, perfect for those crisp fall evenings.

The event runs from 5:45 -10:00 pm. Dinner will be served at 6:30. We will prioritize parties seated together, though all seating will be in community tables of 8.
