About the Event
The Z Hall is excited to partner with the Michigan State Polka Hall of Fame in hosting this year's fall inspired OktoberFeast on October 3rd from 5:00-8:00 pm. A delicious European themed meal will be provided and talented musicians from the Michigan State Polka Hall of Fame will be providing live polka music, including a variety of Polish, German, Czech and Slovenian sounds. The upbeat music will be sure to set your feet dancing and your face hurting from smiling and laughing so much. We are excited to showcase some exhibition Polka dancers as well as a time of dance instruction for beginners so everyone can join in the fun!
We are excited for our Fall inspired drink menu that will be offered during this event that will include spiced wine, Angry Orchard cider, and hot apple cider. We will also be offering Oktoberfest beer on draft!
For this event the food will be served buffet style. Our steam tables will keep each item hot and fresh while also allowing each guest to have control over their portion sizing. Our featured menu will include:
- Tossed house salad
- Buttered Spaetzle
- Traditional Sauerkraut
- Roasted Vegetables
- German Potato Salad
- Czech Fried Chicken
- Grilled Bratwurst
- Fresh baked rolls
A delicious Czech dessert will be served to each table.
The event will be hosted indoors in our beautifully fall decorated building with plenty of spacious seating for you to enjoy the festive celebration with family and friends.

SPECIAL POLKA HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY. The Michigan State Polka Hall of Fame will also be inducting four new individuals into the prestigious Hall of Fame. The special induction ceremony will be held from 2:30-4:00. Feel free to join the polka community in celebrating those who have made significant contributions to the tradition of polka music and polka dance over their life time. Congratulations to this year's inductees Dan Gury, Kurt Schroeder, Christof Michael Hedrich, and Carol Lash Budzyn!
